Cookie Policy

What cookies and local storage we use β€” and how you turn them off.

Last updated: June 2026

Short version: we use one small cookie and one local-storage entry, both for the same job β€” remembering that you already saw our cookie notice. No ad networks, no third-party trackers.

What is a cookie

A cookie is a small text file a site stores in your browser. Local storage is similar but tied to your browser and cleared when you clear browser data. Both let a site remember something between visits.

What we use

The only cookie and storage entries we set today are functional. They exist so you do not see the same banner every time you land on a page.

  • ns-cookie-ack-v1 (localStorage) and ns_cookie_ack_v1 (cookie) β€” remember that you dismissed the cookie notice. The cookie is valid for one year and works across nails-salon.com and its subdomains.
  • Session cookies from our host (Vercel) that keep the page delivery working. Standard infrastructure, not analytics.

What we do not use

No Google Analytics. No Meta pixel. No TikTok pixel. No ad-network cookies. No cross-site trackers. If we ever add analytics, this page will name the tool and the banner will change to ask consent first.

How to turn cookies off

You can clear cookies and local storage any time from your browser settings β€” Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge all have one-click clears. Once cleared, the cookie notice will reappear on your next visit.

Private / incognito browsing does not store anything between sessions, so nothing stays after you close the window.

Third-party links

Salon listings link out to salon websites, booking platforms like Booksy, Fresha, Vagaro, Treatwell, BokaDirekt or Planity, and to Google Maps. Those sites set their own cookies once you land there. We do not control them β€” read their policies if you use them.
